Happy birthday to me! I'm sixteen, yeah! Darn, now I have to update all my profile pages... maybe later. ;) Hehe. I like this piccie. I'm definitely using it in my next layout. She's supposed to be dressed in St. Patricks Day Parade garb in a place with nice tropical weather, i.e. not the Chicago area...

Weekend! Yippee! This might be the last in my series of long-haired boys. Just maybe. It's one of the first doodles I made in the little purple sketchbook I got for Christmas. My blue spiral is all full. *sniff* I didn't draw the background tho. Used Painter Classic's image hose to make a semi-convincing landscape, then blurred it in Photoshop.

Hmm. I've been trying to draw Tony Vincent for a while now. This is the first one that looks even remotely like him. I'm terrible at fanart. SLIA Feis on Saturday was fun. Terribly chaotic, but what else is new? I got first places in jig and traditional set (the ones that don't count, of course) and second places in reel and hornpipe (which was quite shocking, and good because I'm doing those dances at Oireachtas this year). I sketched plenty during the long car trips and waiting between dances. Now the only problem is scanning the pics in a finishing them.

Another sketch. Photoshop enhancement is fun. Ergh, those gridlines are starting to annoy me. Luckily there's only four more pages in my sketchbook, so I can probably use a new one now. Ahhh, a fresh start.

From my sketchbook. A guy. In a chair. Whee. I feel semi-sick. And alone. And uninspired. Bleh. Ooh, St. Louis Feis this Saturday. Must practice dance, but I don't feel motivated. Grr.

Life's okay I guess. I had to choose my courses for next year already. I'm hoping I won't regret my choices. AP American History, AP Calculus, Advanced Physics, plus the regular stuff. I must be nuts. Actually, I'm not worried about anything being too hard, just about getting too much homework.

Yet another Art Club project. We made t-shirts. Mrs. G had stuff for making custom foam stamps, but I decided to go the old brush way. Painting on a shirt with acrylics is quite different from painting on canvas. The thing kept stretching this way and that. It looks pretty funky. I haven't worn it yet, and I'm a bit afraid of washing it.
