"It isn't an easy job to paint oneself, at any rate if it

Speed digipainting. Was having doodling withdrawl. I hear adolescents should get 10 hours a sleep a night. Obviously the health and education professionals today are a little out of sync with each other.

Hmm, my blog counter is getting rather close to 1000! I finally scanned one of my watercolors and 'kakied this. Speaking of watercolors, I'm working on my Van Gogh speech (which I will absolutely have to give on Wednesday), and then I see this in the news. Mild coincidence.

Remember that English project, a speech on a famous person? Maybe not... anyway, I still have to plan and write that thing. I have been researching like heck, though. And thinking about it most of the time, which is somewhat pathetic. My goal is to have it perfect for Monday -- not that I have a choice. The only problem is that I can't seem to concentrate on anything. Springtime is not a good academic time for me, with the weather so nice, even though I never go outside much anyway. Plus, this blog layout is annoying me again. Again! On a different note, I made me a nifty wallpaper out of Van Gogh's Starry Night Over the Rhone.

Yay, I have Yahoo! Messenger now. Go ahead and drop me a line. My name is reelstudio. I literally don't know a single friendly soul who has YM, so I feel kinda lonely. Even though I am also on AIM, and doing homework, and...

Testing, testing. Trying out the Blogger bookmarklet system thingy. I've been having a bad case of web designer's itch lately. Like Ashe, I've been pondering a total upheaval of my site. The itch may go away, it may not. We'll just have to see. But I have come up with one killer index page. By the way, I have been doodling lately; there's just not anything worth posting yet.

Made two oekakis, one for Sara, one for Alison and Jessica, this last weekend. I've been painting watercolors lately, but they're a bit too big to scan. Boy, I must be layoutaholic. I'm already thinking of another one for the domain. As in a total makeover, to make it more professional looking and versatile. The problem with me and layouts is that either my artistic sense is developing way fast or my artistic preferences are way fickle. As for real life, I've got my AP European History exam in a month (the horror!), I'm enjoying my nice clean room (see below) and Irish dance lessons twice a week (as usual), but still have trouble getting enough sleep. Heh. Oke, back to homework with me!

I love this desktop wallpaper. I'm just about overstimulated by its citrusy orange and yellow goodness. Hey, I cleaned my closet on Friday! It took nearly all day, but I did it! Now it's just the rest of my room, but that should be nothing compared to the accumulated mess that was in my closet. Alas, Spring Break is practically over for me. School starts up again tomorrow. Boo. Oh, but I have Irish dance in the evening. Yay!

Okay, I really need to clean my room lol! But I think this animation took two hours or less (gosh knows how long the last one took) so I'm quite proud. So... what do you do with several years' worth of Irish dance medals? Most of mine have ribbons, so I hung them all on this clothes hanger with a removable cardboard tube bottom. It looks pretty spiffy. Hm, now I just need a place to hang it.

wheeeeeee!

As you may have read on the domain update page, I just put up a ton of Irish dance photos from this year and last year: Brampton Feis, Chicago Pat Roche Feis, Oireachtas (my first), Wisconsin Winterfeis, SLIA Feis, the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Naperville, and "Maggie's Show" (which has apparently become an annual event). Needless to say, I'm pooped. Hm, I still really need to clean my room...
