Raw meat and poofy lips
An appropriately named flower if I ever encountered one. Chaim Soutine was an Expressionist known for his macabre paintings of skinned animals and slabs of meat. Now, why someone would breed a rose to look like raw bacon is beyond me.
A few weeks ago, my humanities class finally got to the late nineteenth century. Horay for Impressionism and Post-Impressionism! But somehow we zipped through without even touching the Pre-Raphaelites. Eh well, pale damsels with pouty lips aren't too exciting anyway.
I must admit, Waterhouse has an amazing touch with atmosphere.

Ack
Forget what I said about new content coming soon - this week is going to be nuts! A paper due Monday, then homework galore, Relay for Life on Friday and a weekend dance workshop. AP exams, scholarship deadlines and placement testing are coming up in a few weeks.
Yes, I realize that miserable rantings are oh-so-juvenile. But I'm a high school senior without senioritis. There are few things more pitiful.
On the bright side, my family went to the Arboretum today. Absolutely gorgeous. I probably took a hundred pictures of daffodils alone.

Google Groups!
Hey, an Irish dance Google group! Join away, my lovelies.
I've been experimenting with WordPress. Guess I'll have to learn PHP. Hopefully some non-blog content is on the way as well. No promises though.
DDR is so addicting! They totally need an Irish dance version. Bradley Brothers would be perfect because of the steady beat, and "Warriors" from Lord of the Dance would make an awesome step.
