Tos, tos

Yesterday, it was a ticklish pain in the back of my throat. Today I could barely speak. It's sad when your whole life seems dependent on a steady supply of cough drops. I also seem to be strewing important possessions of mine in random places. Having a couple of chapters left in a fascinating book, then having it suddenly disappear on you is particularly irritating.

That being said... We're building pinhole cameras in Physics, possibly the best lab ever. And summer is just a week away.

Curiously curious

The evil phantom of the Internet is puking out mass quantities of spam into my mailbox at around 65 per day and probably intensifying exponentially. Linearly? Factorially? It would make an interesting Excel graph. On the other hand, the Sandraic Sleep Pattern graphing attempt lost steam quickly, especially when I realized the weekday-weekend thing obscured any interesting trends. Long car rides involving (undocumented) 5-hour naps also seemed to skew things a bit. Any future reincarnation of the project will properly account for both night-sleep and nap-sleep, and perhaps disregard weekends altogether.

Anyway, at the current flat rate, it would take 130 days for spam to fill my mailbox. Of course, the rate is increasing. So an unscientific spam graph might not be a bad idea. I'd be able to project at what point I'll finally be fed up and adopt another email address.

31 days until Chicago Feis!
